Living a life under the thumb, going through motions senses are numb. Told how to live how to act, minute details a matter of fact. Programmed to serve no questions asked, obey commands which you are tasked. Eyes wide open mind shut down, under the thumb your free will is bound.

Under the thumb, someone else’s control. New life wanted to free your soul. Going through motions senses are numb, living a life under the thumb.

Boot of control on your neck, nowhere to turn, life a wreck. Lifetime of sorrow full of regret, fated to die with mountain of debt. Every day always the same, work for someone couldn’t care for your name. Toil and struggle to make someone rich, facts of life ain’t it a bitch.

Dark Soul was formed in 1998 by Sean Emhoolah, William Smith, and Ryan Hammann. After several line up changes a name change to "Torment the Suffering" The band called it quits in '09 After being gone for 4 years Dark Soul reformed in '13 this time adding virgin frontman Robert Smith on vocals and powerhouse Bassist Charlie Becker.
